Position Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Risk Advisor to manage a $10M book of business ($100K–$1M per account) across construction, habitational, and manufacturing industries. As a trusted insurance consultant, you’ll provide strategic guidance, helping clients make data-driven coverage decisions.
You’ll serve as an extension of the Producer, handling client communication, traveling locally for meetings, and collaborating with Producers, Account Managers, carriers, and industry partners to ensure seamless service.
This role requires a risk advisory mindset, overseeing renewals, marketing, and service execution while driving client retention. Strong carrier knowledge and relationship-building skills are essential to delivering a WOW experience and fostering lifelong client partnerships.
DAY IN THE LIFE OF:
- Create compelling narratives around claims data to provide clients with insightful analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers to ensure long term consistent business growth.
- Own the new business process from start to finish.
- Own the renewal process from start to finish.
- Designs, develops, and delivers sales proposals and presentations on product benefits.
- Respond to client inquiries and requests to resolve any related account issues.
- Review commercial applications, policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements for completeness and accuracy.
- Proactively analyze client’s insurance needs by identifying risk exposures and analyzing and classifying risks to provide optimum coverage, costs, and claims settlements.
- Use expert knowledge to remarket client accounts with insurance carriers that will give the client the top solution and price.
- Maintain agency management system with both written and verbal communications.
- Proactively reach out to existing clients to grow accounts through account rounding and additional coverage options.
- Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
- Receive phone calls from clients and companies regarding insurance, claims, administrative problems, and find optimal resolutions.
