The Role
This position involves investigating, evaluating, setting reserves, negotiating, and settling property damage claims. The ideal candidate will have experience with first-party property damage claims and be able to communicate effectively with insureds.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle 1st party property claims in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough coverage analysis and communicate findings to the insured.
- Perform detailed investigations to determine coverage, damages, and liability for first-party property damage claims.
- Negotiate disposition of claims with insureds and claimants or their legal representatives.
- Recognize and implement alternate means of resolution as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 620 Licensure required.
- 3 years of experience processing property damage claims.
