ABOUT THE ROLE
Founded over 2 decades ago, our client has specialized in offering auto liability insurance products to the cross border market between Mexico and the U.S. They are specialists in insuring vehicles travelling between the United States and Mexico.
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster for both McAllen and Laredo locations. These roles are remote.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Investigate and gather facts of the loss.
Assess coverage, identifying and addressing potential coverage issues.
Determine liability and document the claim file with details of the claim investigation.
Report on information obtained regarding damages and resolve within assigned authority limits.
Manage the assignment of claim to material damage for inspection and repairs.
Alert claims supervisor in the event of potential fraud, recovery escalation on the claim.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
3 years of experience in handling commercial auto bodily injury claims.
Texas All Lines Adjuster License - required upon hire. California license – required within 90 days of hire. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Effective communication skills and ability to clearly document and communicate the basis for decisions made.
Excellent written skill that demonstrates clearness, profession and succinct communication for file documentation
Courteous and professional telephone communications.
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & PERKS
50,000 to $60,000, bonus, benefits
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
