Insurance Agency Sales Operations Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Agency Business Consultant to join our client’s District Office. This role is pivotal in providing strategic guidance and operational support to 40 insurance agents across Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Chattanooga. Reporting to the District Manager, this person will focus on business development, performance coaching, and training, helping agents optimize their growth, profitability, and customer retention.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct virtual and in-person consultations with agents to assess business performance.

Analyze agency KPIs and provide tailored recommendations to enhance production, profitability, and client retention.

Track performance metrics and provide regular progress reports to the District Manager.

Identify training needs and develop customized programs for agents and their teams.

Lead training sessions on marketing, sales strategies, customer service, and operational best practices.

Provide hands-on support to help agents implement effective sales and business processes.

Consult on marketing strategies to expand agency books of business, including property & casualty, life & health, and financial services.

Provide guidance on branding, community engagement, and digital marketing tools.

Assist agents in hiring and retaining top-performing staff.

Offer strategic solutions for improving agency workflow and client experience.

Implement and manage district promotional campaigns.

Oversee agent incentive programs, achievement awards, and bonuses to drive motivation and success.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE OF :

Active P&C and L&H licenses (must be obtained before the start date).

3 years of insurance industry experience, preferably in a consulting, sales management, or leadership role.

Strong business acumen with a track record of driving growth and operational efficiency.

Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
