Insurance Underwriting Assistant - Hybrid/Remote - Sacramento, CA
Temporary-to-hire position
A leading company with over 30 years in the insurance space is looking to add an Underwriting Assistant to their team! Our client is looking for motivated professionals who are looking to take their careers to the next level! Don't have insurance experience? NOT A PROBLEM! This is a great opportunity for both candidates with or without insurance experience to grow in one of the leading industries in the country. If you are someone who is a quick learner, detail-oriented, and a self-starter, then this opportunity is for you.
What’s in it for you?
- $25.00 - $30.00/hour depending on experience
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Hybrid/Remote work schedule
- (In-office training then transition into a fully remote work schedule with occasional in-office training)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in underwriting/ and or similar roles.
- Active Property & Casualty License preferred or willing to obtain one
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree preferred
The Position:
- Provide the best customer service experience to all clients
- Maintain great working relationships with agents/brokers, business partners, and customers
- Extremely great with planning and organizational skills
- Process all renewals, new business applications, and endorsements needed to improve underwriting interest
- Work directly with underwriters
- Analyze reports, gather information when needed, and review policy & claim information
