Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience with Commercial Lines accounts (mid-market to large accounts)
- Experience with real estate accounts is a plus!
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Proficiency with AppliedEpic, Microsoft Office, Outlook, carrier websites, and other software systems as needed for the position
The Position:
- Create positive relationships with carriers and clients
- In-depth knowledge of various insurance coverages, products, and agency procedures
- Ability to effectively assess risk
- Initial review of policies and preparation of coverage breakdowns
- Respond to all inquiries from insureds regarding coverage, policy changes, premium payments, and related matters
- Prepare the applications for submission with underwriting information provided by the producer
- Create the proposal under the direction of the Account Executive
