My client is a National Insurance Brokerage. Due to sales growth, they are looking to bring on a new Commercial Lines Account Manager based out of their Tacoma, WA area office to handle a $300,000 revenue book. This is a generalist risk book with accounts in the small to mid-size range. This will be a mix of house accounts and new customers that producers are bringing in. The agency uses AMS360.
The agency believes strongly in work/life balance and offers a flexible hybrid schedule of 1-2 days/week in office, and you pick the days. They will also work with you to help you gain the necessary certifications and continuing education to meet your career path goals. Salary is dependent on past insurance agency experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Full management of a book of business including marketing, servicing, renewal management, analyzing risks, invoicing, reporting, and assisting in all needs for sophisticated business customers including:
- Communicating with prospects, clients, and underwriters
- Work with Producer on presentation of quotes and proposals for new business and renewals
- Review policies, identify deficiencies and determine appropriate level of coverage
- Manage renewal process for expiring policies
- Create certificates of insurance, endorsement requests, and binders
- Ensure client's needs are met in a timely manner
- Online rating with multiple carriers
- Completion of Acord applications
Background needed:
- Vertafore AMS360 Agency Management experience preferred
- Knowledge of major carriers and non-admitted markets
- Licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance
- 3 years P&C experience at a retail insurance agency
