Independent ContractorsDuties :

• The physical characteristicsexterior measurements general conditions photographs unusualhazards and recommendations associated with a property are part ofour comprehensive reports that summarize the observable hazardsassociated with arisk.
• The aboveinformation is used by our client companies to determine whether arisk meets the carriers eligibilityrequirements.
• Inspectorsare the eyes for the insurance underwriter who is generally inanother area and confined to anoffice.

Inspectors set their own hours and work schedules in whichthey organize to accommodate the needs of our clients.

Insurance Inspector Independent ContractorQualifications :

• Be an energeticindividual capable of completing a high volume of insuranceinspections.
• Be motivated analyticalresourceful decisive and have good problemsolvingskills.
• Have a strongdesire to succeed and work independently with limited direction& guidance.
• Be selfdisciplinedorganized and able to manage an aggressive workload and have theability to prioritize and schedule inspections timely andefficiently.
• Not necessary but a plus : VIITACertification previous experience inconstruction / plumbing / electrical industries life safety / firefighting general contracting or propertymanagement.

Insurance InspectorTechnical Requirements :

• A MicrosoftWindows based PC Windows 10
• Google Chrome orEdge and Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
• AdobeAcrobat Reader
• Broadband internet connection
• Digital camera or smart phone capable ofinterfacing with your PC
• Color inkjet or laserprinter
• Reliable insured transportation andvalid drivers license
• A measuring wheel monopodand a clipboard.
