InSync Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel Nursing job in Terre Haute, IN. Shift : 3x12 hr nights Start Date : 03 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks Pay : $1924 / Week
Registered Nurse job duties
While job duties may vary depending on the facility you work with, here are some common ICU Travel RN responsibilities :
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall health, identifying and responding to any changes promptly.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous fluids as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
- Demonstrated knowledge and competence with regard to nursing theories, concepts and practices; medical terminology; anatomy; and physiology.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, best practices regarding patient care and privacy, and changes in local / state / federal regulations.
- Document patients' medical histories, assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and promptly in electronic health records
- Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.
- Coordinate patient transfers to other departments or facilities as required, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Electronic Medical Record.
- Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
