Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team in the Southern market.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic healthcare system in one of the fastest-growing areas in the state.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of general surgery procedures including bread and butter surgeries
- Collaborate with a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Demonstrate proficiency in laparoscopic surgery, with an interest in endoscopy and colonoscopy
- Contribute to the improvement of health in our local communities through compassionate and high-quality patient care
- Function effectively as part of a care delivery team, utilizing resources and skills efficiently
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to support the growth and development of the surgical team
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
- Laparoscopic surgery training preferred
- Interest in endoscopy and colonoscopy
- Experience in wound care is a plus
- Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
- At least 2 years of surgical experience
- Excellent clinical skills and a team-oriented mindset
