Dispatcher
Pay Rate / Range : $24.00 to $27.00 DOE
Hours : 1030am-7pm M-F
Location : Norcross, GA
Duration : 4 months
Key Responsibilities :
Assign and monitor driver activities, shuttles, and backhaul assignments to minimize downtime, overtime, and hours of service violations.
Verify proper use of Omnitracs by drivers and complete attendance trackers.
- Ensure drivers are logging in and utilizing Proof of Delivery scanners.
- Inspect driver appearance to confirm adherence to uniform and PPE requirements.
Address and escalate service issues such as late dispatch, breakdowns, or service failures to management and the sales team.
Reassign routes as necessary to maintain service efficiency.
Maintain and update records using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
Support efficient logistics operations through trailer and tractor assignments.
