JOB TITLE : Electrical Commissioning Engineer
LOCATION : Remote (Traveling position, based out of Philadelphia, PA)

JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team in a traveling role. Based out of the Philadelphia area, this position will require significant travel to client sites for the commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical systems and automation solutions within aluminum casthouse facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are properly installed, calibrated, and fully operational, in line with client's high standards of quality and performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Commissioning and Installation : Lead the electrical commissioning process for automation systems, power distribution systems, and control systems at client sites. Ensure that all systems are installed and operate according to specifications.
- Testing and Troubleshooting : Perform tests on electrical systems and equipment to identify faults and troubleshoot problems. Provide solutions and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- System Configuration and Calibration : Configure, calibrate, and adjust system settings for optimal performance. Ensure system integration with other components of the casthouse automation system.
- Client Liaison : Act as the primary technical contact for clients during the commissioning phase. Provide on-site technical support, training, and advice to client personnel to ensure smooth system operation.
- Documentation and Reporting : Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning reports, technical documentation, and system manuals. Ensure all required paperwork and safety certifications are completed.
- Safety Compliance : Follow safety standards and ensure that commissioning activities comply with all safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety both within the company and on client sites.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for improving commissioning processes, operational efficiency, and system performance. Suggest innovations to improve system reliability and reduce downtime.
