HVAC Service Technician, Modular Building Remodeling

Monday Thru Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm Overtime

Buffalo, NY

Currently seeking HVAC Service Technicians with any of the following skills : HVAC installation, HVAC servicing, handyman, basic electrical, basic plumbing, basic framing, or carpentry skills to join a team with one of the world's largest modular building companies with over 250 locations. Our client is looking for skilled and dependable carpenters and HVAC technicians to join their team, this is not a short-term position; it is a career opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of HVAC units on customer sites
  • Troubleshooting of existing units
  • Repairs and maintenance to HVAC units.

Other responsibilities may include...

  • Perform refurbishment from top to bottom, including floors, wall framing, window cleaning.
  • Remodeling modular buildings
  • Inspect / replace framework using carpentry skills
  • Tile prep and installation
  • Cleaning and upkeep of modular buildings
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of all equipment / tools / parts needed for service tasks.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and practice safe work habits per company policies.
  • Wear and use of personal protective equipment

    • Requirements

  • Recent HVAC experience
  • EPA Universal Certification a MUST
  • Ability to work with a variety of hand tools
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Construction, handyman, and remodeling experience needed
