Job Title : Java Developer

Location : Fishers, IN

Job Description :

Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Java Developer to add to their growing team. Our client is seeking an individual to assist in maintaining a legacy application that handles data encryption / decryption. The candidate would be decompiling and fixing old code and helping to rebuild the application in modern Java.

Responsibilities :

Ongoing maintenance of legacy Java application (getting caught up on technical debt)
Rewrite legacy application into modern Java
Creating APIs with SOAP and REST

Requirements :

US Citizen and able to get security clearance

Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Fishers, IN

5 years of Java development experience

Spring Framework

Strong API Development experience (REST)

Experience decompiling code and working with source code

Ability to use version control tools

Familiarity with Linux

Desired :

Experience with Documentum

Experience with Fortify SSC or vulnerability remediation

Experience with Extreme or Expression by OpenText

Experience with JIRA

Experience with Bitbucket or Gitlab
