What are the responsibilities and job description for the MIG and TIG Welder position at inSync Staffing?

MIG TIG Welder

Pay Rate : $23.00-25.00 / hr based on experience

Shift : 3 : 00PM - 1 : 00AM (Monday - Friday) and a mid-shift on Saturday 10 : 00AM-3 : 00PM

Training- 90 days 1st shift

Location : Racine, WI 53401

Temp to Hire

Must be able to train on 1

shift. Will move to 2

shift after 90 days

Monday to Friday 5am– 3pm
Saturdays 5am – 10am

Our client offers a career that provides training in diverse, unique, and advanced welding technologies. This includes Laser welding, Resistance Spot Welding, and our proprietary Automated Spot Welding.

Responsibilities :

Laser welding

Resistance Spot Welding

Automated Spot Welding

Operating production equipment

Assist in all aspects of production as needed welding is not 100% of the time

Qualifications :

Tech School diploma / certificate

Welding material experience with stainless .030” and Stainless .045”

Good Manual dexterity

Experience in a machine shop, a plus, with CNCs and Manual lathes

MUST be a team player who understands they will not be welding 100% of the time

Requirements :

Ability to work ten (10) hours a day and any required overtime.

Ability to pick up, up to, 20 pounds continuously for ten (10) hours a day and any required overtime.

Ability to take precise measurements utilizing a variety of inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, and a variety of gauges / tools

5 years of experience in the welding field

MUST HAVE STRONG TIG welding experience

MUST PASS A PRACTICAL WELD TEST IN BOTH MIG & TIG WELDING

High School Diploma or equivalent required
