Purchasing and Supply Coordinator

Hours : 8-5pm Hybrid Remote

Summary :

The CertainTeed Offsite Solutions is looking for a talented Purchasing and Supply Coordinator to enable profitable growth in the ONE PRECISION ASSEMBLIES product line. As we are embarking on an exciting journey to scale our business, this position will play a crucial role in executing strategic purchasing and inventory control. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and exciting start-up environment while maintaining poise, organization, and diligence.

Essential Functions (percent of time ) :

• Coordinate contract manufacturing quote / PO process -15%
• Purchasing - 50%
• Updating Product Master List : Cost, Supplier, Lead Time - 10%
• Searching and reaching out to vendors for new parts - 10%
• Create economical cases for material substitutions- 10%
• Support Sales team on quote creation, requote and cost comparisons with sales prospects - 5%
