Supply Chain Analyst ( Sourcing / Purchasing)
Location : Atlanta, GA 30309
Employment Type : 4-month contract (Possible FTE)
Work Arrangement : Onsite
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our Purchasing / Sourcing team team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the sourcing and procurement departments by analyzing data, optimizing purchasing processes, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This is an onsite, long-term contract opportunity for professionals passionate about driving efficiency and improving sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform data analysis to support sourcing and purchasing decisions, focusing on cost optimization and supplier performance.
Leverage ERP systems, particularly SAP, to manage and enhance procurement processes.
Analyze procurement data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline purchasing workflows and improve supplier management.
Utilize advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
Navigate and adapt to customer portals and internal systems, learning processes quickly.
Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, supporting strategic procurement initiatives.
Required Qualifications :
4 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or Supply Chain roles.
4 years of experience with ERP systems.
2 years of hands-on experience with SAP (must-have).
Proficiency in procurement analytics, with expertise in cost analysis and supplier evaluation.
Strong skills in MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (must-have).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proven ability to decipher complex data, derive actionable insights, and recommend next steps.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with Arriba (nice to have).
Familiarity with Fieldglass (nice to have).
