Job Description
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for handling finished products, organizing warehouse inventory, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Transport finished products from production lines to warehouse storage or for order fulfillment.
Reorganize warehouse inventory according to company guidelines.
Operate powered material handling equipment (PMHE) to move, store, load, and unload hazardous finished products.
Pick, assemble, and load customer orders, including LTL and small package shipments.
Use computer systems for inventory control, shipping manifests, packing lists, and billing information.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe work environment, including spill cleanup.
Required Skills
Basic computer knowledge
Familiarity with warehouse operations
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in varying climates
Self-management and adherence to safety standards
Willingness to work occasional overtime or manager-determined schedules
Education Requirements
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
