A private psychiatric practice is looking for a Licensed clinical Social Worker/ Professional Counselor to become a part of our team. We will provide an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth. Full time is preferred but part time positions are also available for nights and weekends
DUTIES
- Diagnose client’s problems by collecting, assessing and evaluating information about the client’s situation and presenting symptoms;
- Develop treatment plan by establishing treatment goals with the client and their support system, and determining treatment methodologies;
- Provide therapeutic feedbacks and recommendations by suggesting and exploring resolutions, and discussing progress towards goals;
- Monitor progress towards treatment goals by evaluating and adjusting services provided;
- Assures quality service for clients by enforcing rules, regulations, and legal requirements with clients; documenting events of the therapeutic process;
- Maintain profession and ethical knowledge and standards by attending educational workshops,
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in counseling/mental health related field
- Licensed clinical Social worker
- At least 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills and the ability to think critically, creatively and strategically to promote quality programming and growth
- Understanding of New Jersey Mental Health and Substance Abuse standards and guidelines
