Our security team is looking for a Security Specialist to help protect client property. This position is located at our corporate headquarters and the successful candidate will support door access, burglar & fire alarm, and video surveillance clients. A successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of access control and alarm security, a commitment to protecting client property and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Support Access Control installations
- Support Fire Alarm installations - must be certified and have BASA/FASA
- Determine the equipment or installation issue of various security problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Investigate, and troubleshooting with security access control, door hardware, burglar and fire alarm equipment and software.
- Take pictures and document site
- Perform emergency response, over the weekend
- Be up-to-date on the ticket notes and required documentation
- Assess overall security risk for each client on each visit
Must be able to pass random drug testing, annual background checks, and must have three verifiable references.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
