Job Description
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Assist Interaction Designers / Information Architects with user interface layout and design components / widgets.
- Collaborate with Interaction Designers / Information Architects, business owners, developers, and graphic designers to establish test and research strategies for projects.
- Select and schedule test and research participants.
- Facilitate user testing and research.
- Analyze testing and research data, report results, and propose IA / design changes.
- Assist with defining and evolving standard protocol, tools, techniques, and documentation / reporting templates for testing.
- Perform expert reviews of systems, as appropriate.
- Educate business owners, developers, and others on the importance of usability and user-centered design (UCD), as appropriate.
Qualifications
A solid understanding of user-centered design, usability testing, and user interface analysis is a must. Familiarity with ADA compliance (WCAG 2.0 level AA), PeopleSoft application, and agile development is preferred.
