What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Intern position at Intact Specialty Solutions?
Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is currently seeking bright and motivated students who are interested in learning from a talented Finance! During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work with and assist our various departments within our Corporate Finance division. This full-time, paid position is based at our Boston, MA Corporate Headquarters. The projected start date is early June 2025, and the internship will last approximately 10 weeks.
As a Finance Intern, you will have an opportunity to:
- Develop knowledge and experience in various Finance roles, including Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis and Financial Systems.
- Learn established accounting and reporting policies. Assist with general ledger entries, account reconciliations and ad hoc financial production-based requests. Play a role in producing the external reporting of financial results.
- Be a part of a community and develop a network of Accounting and Finance professionals and peers.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
- Currently a college student with a background in finance, or related technical field.
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative and be a team player.
- Exhibits exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
Salary: $30/hour
