Position Overview:
Join us as a fully remote Legal Intake Specialist, focused on making great first impressions as the voice of our customers. This part-time role involves empathetically and professionally handling incoming phone calls, managing digital inquiries, conducting initial screening, and guiding potential clients through our intake process. We're looking for someone who is not only skilled in communication but also excels in creating a positive and client-centered experience. Our ideal candidate may have previous experience in legal intake or as a sales development representative, setting consultations and obtaining signed contracts.
Intake Engine’s Available Shifts:
- 4 Hour Shifts: 8AM-12PM, 9AM-1PM, 12PM-4PM, 1PM-5PM, 4PM-8PM CST
- 2 Hour Shifts available upon request
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication: Engage with potential clients via phone, email, and text message to gather potential case information and utilize internal systems to determine next steps.
- Intake Management: Be responsive, empathetic, and thorough during the intake process, ensuring all potential client information is meticulously collected and organized in our proprietary software.
- Preliminary Assessment: Evaluate the potential of incoming cases and direct inquiries to the appropriate legal professionals based on clear criteria provided by our clients.
- Documentation: Maintain precise records of potential client interactions and decisions.
- Caller Education: Inform potential clients about our client’s services, processes, and fees.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with legal teams to ensure seamless case transitions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in legal intake or customer service roles beneficial.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with stellar organizational capabilities.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A basic grasp of legal terminology and processes.
- Bilingual abilities are a significant plus.
