Job Title: Web Developer – Shopify Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with a specialization in Shopify to build, customize, and optimize eCommerce websites. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our Shopify store(s), ensuring a seamless user experience and high-performance functionality. The ideal candidate has expertise in Shopify’s Liquid coding language, theme customization, app integrations, and general web development best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify Development & Customization:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Implement and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create and integrate custom Shopify apps, plugins, and API solutions as needed.
• Optimize site performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness.

Site Enhancements & UX/UI Improvements:

• Work closely with the eCommerce and marketing teams to develop custom landing pages and features.
• Implement UX/UI best practices to improve customer journey and conversion rates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, technical issues, and third-party app conflicts.
• eCommerce Optimization & Integrations:
• Set up and manage Shopify Plus features, scripts, and automation workflows.
• Integrate third-party apps and services, including payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools.
• Optimize SEO structure, schema markup, and metadata to improve site ranking and search visibility.

Collaboration & Support:

• Work closely with designers, marketers, and content teams to bring creative ideas to life.
• Provide technical support for website updates, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
• Stay updated on the latest Shopify developments, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on Shopify.
• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience customizing Shopify themes and working with Shopify APIs.
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus, app development, and headless commerce is a plus.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and eCommerce performance optimization.
• Experience with version control (Git) and basic knowledge of backend development is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
