JOB TITLE: Server Administrator
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt
PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Manager of Information Technology
POSITION SUMMARY: As an IT Server Administrator you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our On-Premise and Azure cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team and other departments to ensure our systems are secure, efficient, and scalable. Your role will be crucial in supporting our mission by providing reliable and innovative IT solutions. Monitors and maintains cloud and On-Premise systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cloud security. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues. Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes. Stay updated with the latest server, system technologies and trends to recommend improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 years’ experience as an IT Server Administrator or closely related position with a focus on Azure cloud solutions
Certificate management and deployment
Preferred Education, Training & Experience:
7 years of experience as an IT Server Administrator or closely related position with a focus on Azure cloud solutions
Experience with cloud migration and deployment strategies.
Familiarity with non-profit sector IT needs and challenges
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read, interpret and apply technical publications, manuals and other documents
Ability to troubleshoot and positively resolve an array of hardware, software and application problems
Ability to effectively interpret and articulate technical information to technical staff and non-technical users
Ability to effectively interpret new software applications and apply knowledge from one application to another
Ability to provide effective formal and informal technical instruction and demonstration
SALARY:
$28.84-$33.65 per hour starting rate based on experience
