Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee system design and build processes, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate distributed control systems into projects.
- Provide technical expertise in Python, Fortran, and other programming languages as needed for project requirements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams in best practices for mechanical knowledge and fabrication techniques.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout all phases of project development.
- Conduct regular quality assurance assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of distributed control systems and their application in engineering projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Fortran is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of system design principles and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for project prototypes or testing phases.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
