Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee Payroll Operations : Manage accurate and timely weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls for union and non-union employees across multiple states.
- Team Leadership : Develop and guide a team of 3-4 payroll administrators, fostering growth and efficiency.
- System Expertise : Process payroll changes, manual checks, and wires; utilize ADP Vantage / Workforce Now (WFN) and Oracle Time and Labor .
- Process Improvements : Recommend automation strategies and optimize payroll workflows for seamless operations.
- Compliance & Reporting : Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including SOX compliance, workers' compensation, and tax laws.
- Audit Coordination : Collaborate with internal and external auditors for seamless payroll audits and reporting.
- Project Leadership : Lead system upgrades, new calculations, acquisitions, and conversions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
