Job Title – Airline Cargo Truck Dispatcher

Pay –$26.00/hr, DOE

Job Summary of the Airline Cargo Truck Dispatcher position
Integr8staff seeks an experienced Airline Cargo Truck Dispatcher in Hawthorne, CA near LAX.
Responsibilities of the Airline Cargo Truck Dispatcher position
Daily dispatch of fleet of truck drivers with import, export, and local FLT and LTL deliveries to locations near and far.
Provide oversight of driver activities through phone calls, dispatch system, and GPS tracking system
Tracking of equipment used on a daily basis for both shifts
Working with Management if additional equipment is needed
Have working knowledge of cargo airline locations, closures and opening times, and check-in procedures, appointment times, etc.
Dispatching import and export airline work and local deliveries to multiple clients
Use electronic dispatch system to track drivers, assigned workloads, complete billing, etc.
Upload PODs for customers to view in company portal, update waiting times and charges
Overseeing workflow based on customer SLAs (service level agreements)
Keep adherence of the driver to US DOT regulations (Hours of Service)
Reporting damages to and coordinating with mechanics team to schedule trucks for PM maintenance or repairs/requesting replacements if necessary.
Task for Equipment maintenance amidst work Schedule
Update Changes or fluctuations on an account to management
Updating customers with Shipments status upon request via email, text message, phone call, and system updates
Investigating and replying to customer inquiries
Verifying information for Billing when necessary
Requirements of the Airline Cargo Truck Dispatcher position
High School diploma/GED preferred.
2-5 years of Airline cargo dispatching experience
Microsoft Outlook; Word, Excel and other software tools
Great Communication, team player, works well under pressure.
Basic computer proficiency and working knowledge of software applications required.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required.
Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including knowledge, experience, and judgment required.
Must be reliable, strong attendance and punctuality
Possess good time management skills
