This is a hybrid role with added billing and invoicing responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Billing Clerk position
Independently completing basic, routine administrative tasks with detailed instructions.
Performs a variety of office-oriented tasks to ensure effective administrative operational support.
Offer support with a focus on customer service and general office skill
Responsible for accurately and timely processing of incoming and outgoing billing of goods
Create bills of lading.
Create invoices and files related documents
Responds to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Assists with maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Responsible for adhering to safety processes and protocols.
Generally responsible for completing basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions.
Requirements of the Receptionist/ Billing Clerk position
2 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
High School diploma/GED required.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, which includes, customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Math Skills – Ability to calculate figures amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, etc.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Efficient, well organized, thorough and detail oriented.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
Must be punctual and reliable, attendance is very important in this role.
