Work Schedule - 3pm to 11pm
Job Summary of the Yard Clerk Dispatcher position
Integr8staff seeks a Yard Clerk Dispatcher to verify incoming and outgoing port containers.
Responsibilities of the Yard Clerk Dispatcher position
The Yard Clerk will provide accurate on-time trailer and truck positioning, have detailed trailer inventory knowledge, and inbound/outbound traffic control as it pertains to container location in the yard. The Yard Clerk works closely with both Dispatchers, Customer Service, Truck Drivers and drayage team efficiently gathering and providing key information for system data entry with utmost accuracy. This position owns the responsibilities in the following areas: heavy attention to detail, monitoring the yard, verifying count online with a checklist, taking inventory count, periodic yard walk to understand location of inventory, customer service, communication, and multi-tasking.
Requirements of the Yard Clerk Dispatcher position
1-year heavy clerical/ data entry and warehousing (preferably in trucking and logistics)
Proven ability to work on their feet for long periods of time
Proven verbal and written communication and attention to detail
Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, data entry, etc.
Must be punctual and dependable
