About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team. As a key member, you will assist with full-cycle A/P processes, ensuring compliance with company policies while carrying out daily tasks. The ideal candidate has 2 years of recent accounts payable experience working in a fast-paced environment and is familiar with NetSuite.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process bills by entering them into NetSuite, performing 3-way matching, saving backups, requesting payment approval, and initiating payments.
- Maintain vendor information and paperless files.
- Process 1099s annually.
- Create and reconcile prepaid schedules.
- Support other accounts payable-related activities.
- Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures.
- Run weekly AP aging reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience working in an accounting field.
- Familiarity with accrual accounting.
- Excellent computer literacy with capability in MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent knowledge and experience using G-Suite products (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Experience using NetSuite preferred.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and diligent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
