What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Integra Biosciences Corp?
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities within existing small transactional accounts (accounts <$10k). The ISR will work closely with the Field Sales Team to identify potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities, manage customer relationships, and convert small accounts into larger, more strategic partnerships. This is a hybrid position.
Primary Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Manage and grow revenue from existing accounts.
- Ensure regular communication and understand customer needs.
- Foster and grow INTEGRA's presence with existing clients.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate with Field Sales Team on client engagement.
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Conduct outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social media).
- Use lead generation and sales enablement platforms.
- Introduce INTEGRA's products and develop connections with clients.
Sales Process Management:
- Schedule and conduct virtual meetings and demos.
- Qualify and convert inbound leads.
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals.
- Maintain a clean pipeline for tracking and forecasting.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Act as the primary contact and follow up consistently.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain accurate sales records in Salesforce.
- Analyze sales data to refine strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 2-4 years in inside sales or account management, preferably in life sciences.
- Track Record: Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets and high client retention.
- Skills:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
- Customer Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Time Management: Effective multitasking and attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: CRM systems (Salesforce), sales tools (SalesLoft), analysis tools (Excel, PowerBI), lead generation tools (SciLeads, LinkedIn Sales Navigator), virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
