As world-leading manufacturer and direct seller of innovative laboratory tools and consumables for liquid handling and media preparation, you will sell products to prospects and customers and act as point of contact post-sale, focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business. The Outside Sales Representative will have a 'hunter' mentality and be eager to meet new customers. The Outside Sales Representative will function as a direct sales agent for the company in the MN, IA, SD, ND areas.
Primary Responsibilities
- Actively meet with and call upon existing and new potential customers to give sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training on a regular basis
- Close new product sales
- Develop and deliver customer training
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships
- Use Salesforce to track contacts and opportunities and generate quotations
- Prepare monthly sales forecast
- Maintain a weekly calendar of activities
- Attend industry-related trade shows, symposiums, and professional association meetings
- Develop short and long-term goals and strategies for the territory
- Create and develop new customer prospect accounts while leveraging existing relationships
- Capable of conducting basic product demonstrations and presentations
- Shows eagerness to participate in sales training and development programs
- Achieves set KPIs consistently, such as call volume, client meetings, and pipeline growth
