As a Commercial Insurance Agent at Integra Insurance Services, you will be responsible for driving new business, managing existing client relationships, and offering expert guidance to help businesses select the right insurance coverage. You’ll work with small, medium, and large companies to assess their insurance needs and offer tailored policies that protect their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate New Business: Prospect for new commercial clients and develop relationships to understand their insurance needs.
- Client Consultation: Meet with business owners and decision-makers to assess risks and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
- Policy Recommendations: Create and present customized insurance solutions based on the client’s unique business risks.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and grow a book of existing clients by providing ongoing customer service and policy reviews.
- Negotiation & Coordination: Work with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, rates, and coverage options for clients.
- Claims Assistance: Assist clients with claims handling and provide support throughout the claims process.
- Stay Current: Keep up to date on industry trends, regulations, and new products to offer the best solutions to clients.
- Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales and performance goals.
Qualifications:
- Licensing: Active state Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
- Experience: Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or a related field.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products such as general liability, workers’ compensation, property insurance, and more.
- Sales Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building lasting relationships.
- Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
