The Associate Materials Management Coordinator is responsible for receipt, processing, decontamination and disposition of all Integra capital equipment and surgical Instruments. This will require learning all products, cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization processes for each of the products. These responsibilities ensure the total control of all products received at the Cincinnati service center and central returns for repair units and customer returns.
- Process the cleaning, decontamination, autoclave sterilization drying, and disposition of all Integra Lifesciences equipment and instruments returned from customers (finished goods, repairs, evaluation units) and field sales teams.
- Knowledge of all of Integra’s devices and understanding how to dismantle sophisticated medical equipment carefully and methodically for decontamination, and thoroughly clean and sterilize each component and reassemble if required.
- Perform updates in Oracle for quantities received and transferred between locations, and for receipt and issues associated with repairs, loaners or pool/eval products.
- Accurately documents and keeps detailed records of all work-related activities.
- Use materials moving equipment such as hand trucks from time to time.
- Assists in preparing and participating in yearly physical inventories.
- Assist with maintaining accurate S&R spare parts inventory (i.e., conducting cycle counts, etc.)
- Perform shipping and receiving duties as required per the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Work on projects as part of a team, exchanging ideas and contributing skills that complement those of the other team members. Fulfills commitments to team members.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to quickly become proficient in decontamination and sterilization processes.
- Oracle experience Preferred
- Experience with medical devices preferred
- Inventory Control, Shipping, and Receiving experience preferred.
- Experience with material moving equipment including forklift operation.
- Computer experience including spreadsheets, word processing and Oracle systems.
- Detailed oriented and able to pay close attention to accuracy.
- Ability to properly handle confidential information and records.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Able to analyze information gathered to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
