What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Assembler position at Integra Mission Critical LLC?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble electrical components and control devices to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units.
- Perform basic wiring of simple circuits, switches, and outlets.
- Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Use of basic power tools including drills, impacts and grinders.
- Read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams to assemble units per the correct specifications.
- May work as part of a subgroup or as an individual, depending on the task.
- May require use of a propane hand torch to apply shrink wrap material to product prior to shipping.
- Build shipping pallets as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic aptitude and knowledge of electrical installation
- Basic math skills
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
- Physical fitness and strength to lift 30-50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to use hand tools, small power tools, and equipment.
- Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
- Maintain the tools used to create products.
- May require travel up to 20%
WORK ENVIROMENT:
Includes a production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery and other hazards. May involve frequent standing, sitting, walking, crawling, climbing, crouching, balancing, kneeling, reaching and using hands and fingers to handle, use or feel various sized objects. Frequent lifting and moving objects between 10 - 50 pounds. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.
