About the Company :

Join a fast-growing food manufacturing company in Montgomery, AL, as we expand to meet increasing business demand. We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Planner to elevate our preventative maintenance (PM) program.

This newly created role is essential to building a stronger maintenance department as we install and manage new equipment.

Position Overview :

As a Maintenance Planner, your key role will be to enhance workforce productivity and equipment quality by minimizing potential delays through effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities.

You will lead the maintenance program, oversee the CMMS system, and collaborate with contractors and the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all equipment operates at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute plans to improve productivity by coordinating resources, parts, and materials for maintenance tasks.
• Integrate safety requirements into all maintenance planning activities.
• Verify and review completed work orders, ensuring accurate updates to machinery history in the CMMS system.
• Analyze historical maintenance data to identify recurring issues and recommend solutions.
• Manage and enhance the CMMS program, particularly E-Maint or SAP.

Requirements :

• BS / BA is required
• 3 years of maintenance planning, scheduling, parts management or related experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• Proficient in entering, organizing, and optimizing data within a preventative maintenance system.
• Capable of performing mechanical and / or electrical troubleshooting.
