Job Description
Sr. Financial Analyst, Operations will support any combination of financial and business information, analysis and modeling in support of the company's business objectives. This includes, but is not limited to the annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, monthly financial reporting, Key Performance Indicators, presentation preparation and business controls. The analyst will also work to development enhancements to existing processes to drive improved financial transparency and awareness. Analyst may also perform competitor and industry analysis and support special projects that are aligned with the company's business goals. This role is expected to work with limited supervision.
This position will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Roswell, GA.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Analyze the monthly financial performance and providing commentary for the material variances to prior year and plan
- Efficient data mining / querying and reporting.
- Perform advanced analysis activities, including defining, measuring and communicating core metrics and providing insight to the business.
- Orientation to continuous performance improvement coupled with root cause analysis.
- Cost improvement project reporting / controlling
- Manufacturing variance analysis
- Inventory controls, reporting, and analytics
- Freight analytics
