We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Interventional Radiology (IR) Surgical Tech to join our dynamic team at a state-of-the-art Office-Based Lab (OBL) in Daytona, FL. This position plays a vital role in assisting the interventional radiology team during minimally invasive vascular procedures, ensuring a sterile field, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Interventional Radiology (IR) Surgical Tech to join our dynamic team at a state-of-the-art Office-Based Lab (OBL) in Daytona, FL. This position plays a vital role in assisting the interventional radiology team during minimally invasive vascular procedures, ensuring a sterile field, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field during interventional radiology procedures.
- Assist the interventional radiologist in performing angiograms, venograms, prostate artery embolization (PAE), genicular artery embolization (GAE), and other vascular procedures.
- Handle surgical instruments, catheters, wires, and other devices required for vascular interventions.
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment in collaboration with the radiology team.
- Monitor and assess patient status during procedures in coordination with the medical team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, instruments, and supplies used.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, sterilization, and preparation of surgical supplies.
- Provide support in patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Scrub Tech in an interventional radiology, vascular, or cath lab setting preferred.
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy, sterile techniques, and interventional procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
