The Vascular Site Manager will also play a crucial role in staffing coordination, vendor management, and facilitating necessary operational tasks in line with clinical standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Oversee day-to-day management of OBL staff, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and ensuring staffing levels meet the demands of surgical and non-surgical days.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory control, assist with inventory counts, and coordinate ordering, receiving, and transferring supplies between locations.
- Compliance & Licensure: Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and compliance documentation are maintained for the OBL facility.
- Quad A Preparation: Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and completion of Quad A surveys and inspections to ensure accreditation is maintained.
- Patient & Appointment Management: Oversee patient appointment scheduling, insurance verifications, and transportation logistics to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Vendor Relationships: Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of supplies and equipment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the OBL meets all applicable regulatory and safety requirements by maintaining proper documentation, data entry, and responding to any formal requests on behalf of the facility.
- HR Support: Collaborate with the HR department in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and onboarding new staff members.
- Emergency Response: Respond appropriately to any potential medical emergencies, maintaining composure under pressure and ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Communication & Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for internal teams and external partners to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: High School Diploma (required).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of healthcare management experience.
- Clinical Experience: Clinical experience is not required, but certifications such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Nurse (RN) are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, patients, and external partners.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in team building and managing staff, with the ability to motivate and foster a positive work environment.
- Ability to resolve conflicts efficiently with both patients and staff while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to maintain composure and perform under pressure, especially in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of medical emergency protocols and procedures.
