Job Summary: Integra Work Solutions is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of living and safety in our residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks that ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform repairs on household appliances, plumbing systems, and other household systems.
- Execute preventive maintenance to avoid future problems or breakdowns, maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Handle emergency maintenance requests promptly to ensure tenant comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and external contractors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Update management on the status of maintenance tasks and potential issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in residential or similar settings.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and other systems.
- Experience with appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle tools and machinery required for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
- Dependable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants and management.
