Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. We are a closed-door pharmacy serving nursing homes and assisted livings across Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with prescriptions.
- Operating our TCGRx packaging robot. This is a fast paced, high technology position that works as part of a team to meet a production schedule.
- Maintain an organized pharmacy environment by managing inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and standards in the handling of medications.
Requirements
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred; ALBOP licensure is required.
- Experience in a LTC pharmacy is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a production type environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team to deliver high quality care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
