Job Summary: The Training Lead QMHP is a senior-level position in the Crisis Call Center Diversion Program, serving as the primary trainer and onboarding lead for new C3 Mental Health Triage Specialists. This role ensures that new hires receive comprehensive training on crisis intervention, de-escalation, documentation, and first responder collaboration.
In addition to training responsibilities, this position also serves as a flex coverage role for QMHP Leads, meaning the Training Lead must be fully proficient in QMHP Lead and C3 duties and be able to step in for QMHP Leads when they are out for planned leave or emergencies.
The Training Lead collaborates closely with the Practice Manager, C3 Supervisors, and Crisis Trainers to ensure high-quality training, professional development, and continued skill enhancement for all C3s. They will also help identify training gaps, develop ongoing educational opportunities, and assist in teaching crisis training courses, such as Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) or other required trainings.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education
Required:
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- State designation as a Qualified Mental Health Professional - Crisis Services (QMHP-CS)
- LMSW, LCSW, LPC-A or LMFT preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct mental health crisis intervention.
- Previous experience training, onboarding or staff development strongly preferred.
- Strong Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, crisis de-escalation strategies, first responder collaboration.
- Experience with Risk Assessment, safety planning, and crisis triage.
- Comfort with technology platforms, including CAD systems, electronic health records (EHRs) and telehealth software.
