School Based Therapist - QMHP

Job Summary: The School-based Therapist will be located in Pflugerville ISD (Northwest Elementary and Dessau Elementary) and is responsible for providing services related to the delivery of mental health care to assigned clients at the designated school location and will provide consultation services to the school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school. The therapist provides direct mental health services to include intake assessment, individual/family/group therapy, and crisis intervention and 90 day assessments/updates to all assigned clients. Therapist will provide consultation for school staff regarding mental health issues of clients (as appropriate). Therapist will maintain 50% face to face billable hours and provide complete and timely documentation according to agency guidelines. Therapist will maintain regular contact with the parent/guardian of each client.

Integral Care uses an electronic medical records system. Applicants must have strong computer skills and must possess a strong knowledge of the common diagnoses and treatment for school-aged children and possess the skills necessary to facilitate positive change in a school environment.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

• Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

License:

Required:

• Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• LPC-A, LMSW, or LMFT-A.

Experience:

Preferred:

• Mental health experience, particularly school-based mental health experience.
  
• Bilingual preferred.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Salary: $24.41 per hour.
