Help Desk Support Specialist

Location: Glynco, GA

Clearance: Public Trust

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manages processes related to these systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides phone and Tier I, II and III support to users in areas which include hardware/ software, e-mail, network connectivity, standard desktop images and applications.
• Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related problems, including hardware/ software, passwords, printer and other peripheral device problems & minor A/V support.
• Responsible for entering tickets into ticket tracking system and assigning to the appropriate entity for resolution.
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• AA/AS or Equivalent Experience
• 1 year of Help Desk Experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  
  

Preferred

• Microsoft Certified Help Desk Professional
• CompTIA, Security and A Certified
