Junior Software Engineer
Location: Northern Virgnia
Clearance: Active TS/SCI
This is an introductory overview of the positProvide Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) support for Cyber and Electronic Warfare (EW) programs.ion. This is the first thing the candidate sees and should catch their eye.
Responsibilities
· Provide experience and expertise in the implementation of communications, sensor, and cyber countermeasures/techniques into hardware, software, and systems for development of Cyber products
· Support applied research and development, advanced technology development, for hardware and software, cyber capability engineering, modeling and simulation and planning tools, and software and firmware for Development/Implementation, Lab Experiments, and Field Demonstrations.
· Support software application engineering, digital signal processing analysis, and embedded software design.
· Provide demonstration support to include assistance in the development of test plans, preparation and acquisition of test equipment, development of test procedures, and procurement of any software and hardware required to execute.
Qualifications
Required:
· B.S. degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
· 3 years experience in software engineering and programming for software application development.
· Technical background and skills to perform in all phases of software design, development, and documentation; configuration management; DOD software policy; and DOD test and evaluation requirements.
· TS/SCI Clearance
