Senior Logistics and Program Analyst – UAS Supply Chain and Program Analysis

Overview:
The Senior Logistics and Program Analyst will provide expert-level support for the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) lifecycle, focusing on supply chain management, logistics operations, and program analysis. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in acquisition, logistics, business, or management to ensure effective planning, execution, and optimization of UAS logistics and programmatic activities. The Senior Analyst will work closely with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that enhance operational efficiency and mission success.
Responsibilities:
Logistics Services:
  • Lifecycle Logistics Support: Plan, develop, and execute Integrated Product Support (IPS) requirements for the UAS portfolio, ensuring optimal supply chain management and sustainment.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to sourcing, procurement, and conversion, including cybersecurity and quality manufacturing concerns.
  • Disposal Processes: Manage disposal processes for reutilization, transfer, donation, and disposal of Government Property (GP).
Supply Support:
  • Supply Posture Analysis: Assess inventory levels, requisitions, backorders, procurement, and repair programs; provide recommendations for issue resolution and status updates to the Government.
  • Deficiency Resolution: Analyze logistics operations across the UAS fleet to identify supply support deficiencies and recommend courses of action (COA) for resolution.
  • Initial Spares Requirements: Evaluate spares requirements for new development, modification, or upgrade efforts; provide recommendations for initial sparing decisions.
  • Implementation of Management Actions: Coordinate actions to receive, store, and issue spare parts and repair parts, ensuring the best equipment and capability is available to the Warfighter at the lowest total ownership cost.
Program Analysis:
  • Funds Execution: Collect, analyze, and integrate obligation and disbursement reports to ensure proper funds execution.
  • Obligation and Expenditure Plans: Develop and review plans to align program funding with mission requirements.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze performance data and prepare reports to track actual performance against planned performance.
Program Analysis Support:
  • Purchase Requests: Develop purchase requests and ensure alignment with program requirements.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tools: Provide hands-on expertise in using Army systems such as General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) software for program analysis and reporting.
  • Transaction Code Analysis: Assist in resolving issues related to Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP), Financials (FI), and Asset Management (AM) transaction codes.
Qualifications:
Required:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in acquisition, logistics, business, management, or a related discipline.
    • In lieu of a degree: 11 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience gained after obtaining a bachelor’s degree.
    • Expertise in logistics services, supply chain management, and program analysis.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in ERP tools such as GFEBS, LMP, and SAP.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Security Clearance:
    • Active SECRET clearance required.
Work Location:
  • Primary: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
  • Secondary: Authorized virtual work location per customer Telework Policy. Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required at other locations.
Additional Requirements:
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Knowledge of Federal, DoD, and Army regulations related to logistics and program analysis.
