We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with a strong background in SQL Server administration and Linux operating systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Oracle and SQL Server databases in a Linux environment. Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role involves cross-functional collaboration with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c).
- Support and manage SQL Server databases, including backup/recovery and performance tuning.
- Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
- Work on Linux-based servers for database hosting and scripting (Shell, Bash, etc.).
- Collaborate with application teams for query optimization and data modeling.
- Implement and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Maintain database security, roles, and access privileges.
- Document processes and database environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration.
- Solid understanding of Linux OS, including scripting and system-level troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, mission-critical databases.
- Familiarity with database performance tuning tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
