SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Assistant Property Manager is accountable for all administrative duties and supports the site staff. This position ensures that all work carried out on site, whether by staff or vendors, is carried out as per the company’s policies and procedures and any applicable local, state, or federal laws. The Assistant Property Manager is an extension of the Community Property Manager for all day-to-day operations. They will assume all managerial duties in the Community Property Manager’s absence.
#IAMKEYRESPONSIBILITIES
1) #IAMFAIRHOUSING: Conduct all business in accordance with #iam policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other Federal and State laws.
2) #IAMMENTOR: Provide general assistance with the leasing office.
3) #IAMACCOUNTANT: Accepts rental payments and posts to AppFolio. Maintains accurate monthly commission sheets for bonus payments.
4) #IAMAPPEAL: Tour the property to ensure target apartments/model homes are presentable.
5) #IAMMANAGER: Process applications for approval. Inform the Community Property Manager of qualified/unqualified applicants. Follow up with applicants regarding application status.
6) #IAMHERO:Types up residential leases and completes all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
7) #IAMOPTIMIZER Confirms that the apartments are ready for residents to move in on the move-in date. Orients new residents to the community.
8) #IAMMANAGEMENT: Efficiently assist the onsite team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages productivity and personal growth.
9) #IAMOBJECTIVES: Answer questions for residents about the community, work orders, rent, rules, etc. Ensure all work orders are up to Integrated standards.
10) #IAMPRESERVATION: Ensure the proper maintenance and care of the property to safeguard its long-term value and protect the interests of property stakeholders.
11) #IAMEXAMPLE: Assist with enforcing policies and rules of the community. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

#IAMREQUIREMENTS FOR ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER
· High school diploma or equivalent, some college-level education preferred.
· 1 years in a sales-oriented role and/or 6 months of on-site leasing experience or a combination of customer service and sales experience and education preferred.
· Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Industry designations (ARM, CAM, NALP, RPM) are strongly preferred.
· AppFolio experience preferred.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
