We provide home and clinic-based ABA services to children on the Autism Spectrum using a hybrid model. Summary/Objective:
As a BCBA at IABS, you will assess clients with developmental disabilities, develop and implement individualized behavior support plans, and provide supervision and training to behavior technicians and families. You will work in both home and clinic settings, utilizing the latest ABA methodologies and ensuring high-quality care for each child. The role involves supervising data collection, evaluating progress, and ensuring the effectiveness of treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, conduct, evaluate, and supervise the implementation of behavioral and functional assessments.
- Develop individualized goals and objectives for programs, and design behavior support plans based on functional assessment data.
- Ensure that behavioral data systems are implemented properly, ensuring that quantifiable data is collected at regular intervals to evaluate treatment progress.
- Supervise and provide ongoing support to Behavior Technicians in the implementation of individualized treatment plans (ITPs).
- Conduct regular supervision meetings with Behavior Technicians to monitor progress, provide feedback, and address challenges.
- Provide family training sessions as prescribed in individual treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, from intake to discharge.
- Collaborate with families and community providers to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Maintain a weekly billable caseload of service hours.
Qualifications:
- BCBA certification (Required)
- Virginia LBA (Required)
- Proficient in designing and implementing individualized behavior support plans and curricula.
- Ability to supervise and train behavior technicians effectively.
- Excellent understanding of the principles of ABA and ethical standards.
- Ability to collect, analyze, graph, and interpret data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and set goals for self and others.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to provide effective training and support to staff, families, and clients.
